CBRE represented ABA in the 87K SF lease transaction
Washington, D.C. – June 1, 2021 – The American Bankers Association (ABA), the banking industry’s largest trade association representing banks of all sizes in every corner of the country, has signed a lease for 87,000 square feet at The Meridian Group’s 1333 New Hampshire Avenue in Dupont Circle. ABA will be relocating from 1120 Connecticut Avenue, NW and plans to occupy their new space in late 2022.

CBRE’s Manny Fitzgerald, Harry Stephens and Renee Collins represented ABA in the transaction. The Meridian Group was represented by Evan Behr, Doug Mueller, and Thomas Myers of JLL. OTJ Architects are leading the interior design of ABA’s new workplace.

The recent renovations at the 350,000-square-foot,12-story 1333 New Hampshire Avenue property included updating the building facade, redesigning the lobby, adding a state-of-the-art fitness center and constructing a brand new -rooftop experience that includes an indoor-outdoor lounge and conference amenity space with 360-degree views of Washington’s central business district, the National Cathedral and Rosslyn.
